AVANA 100 mg, Avanafil

Avana (Avanafil) is used to treat men with erectile dysfunction, the inability to achieve or maintain an erection firm enough for sexual activity. Sexual stimulation is required for Avana to work effectively.

The main active ingredient in Avana 100 is Avanafil. It works by increasing the relaxation of smooth muscle through nitric oxide, a chemical normally released in response to sexual stimulation. This increases blood flow to specific areas of the penis, helping to produce an erection.

HOW TO USE

Take Avana 100 orally as prescribed by your doctor. The recommended dose is one tablet, taken as needed approximately 15-30 minutes before sexual activity.

Depending on effectiveness and tolerability, the dose may be increased or reduced according to how you respond. Discuss any dose changes with your doctor. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once a day. Avana must not be used by anyone under 18.

MISSED DOSE & OVERDOSE

Avana is taken as needed, so you are unlikely to be following a regular dosing schedule. If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, seek emergency medical help immediately.

Symptoms of overdose usually include chest pain, nausea, an irregular heartbeat, dizziness or fainting. If you experience any of these symptoms or another health problem after an overdose, contact an emergency medical service immediately.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

The most common side effects of Avana include headache, flushing, heartburn, indigestion, nasal congestion, light-headedness, dizziness and diarrhoea. A serious allergic reaction to this medicine is very rare, but if one occurs, seek medical help immediately. Many people who take this medicine do not experience serious side effects. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any side effect not listed above.
